PPACG seeking requests for proposals for Community Wildfire Protection Plans

The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments is requesting proposals from professional consultants to develop new Community Wildfire Protection Plans for the Monument Fire District, the Woodmen Valley Fire Protection District and the Highway 115 Fire Protection District. These plans will serve as a framework for a comprehensive long-term resiliency plan used to prioritize future wildfire hazard protection projects for each district and will help foster a collaborative approach with adjacent neighborhoods and jurisdictions. The CWPPs are also intended to help in obtaining wildfire mitigation funding from a variety of funding sources.

Proposals are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024. The RFP document is available at ppacg.org/requests-for-proposals. Questions regarding this proposal should be directed to Paul Rochette, military planning program manager at PPACG, at (719) 471-7080, or prochette@ppacg.org.
